Performance is perhaps the discipline through which we can approach a more intimate dimension of Alvaro Arrosamena's work. A complex combination of projects that interacts between different disciplines to create what he calls "communication experiences”

Arrosamena`s performances point to different traditions and histories but aren`t confined to drama, many of them are related to ritual, and other are made to create discussions or simply involve the audience in a specific thematic.

Interventions and happenings are also common in his live artworks.

Interdisciplinary practice is fundamentally about moving out of spaces of operation, materialization of the idea and the development of the creative process involving the combination and interaction of different disciplines. The work exits outside material reality but is not purely conceptual, many more factors than the concept are of critical importance in this is interdisciplinary space.
